Riyadh, September 6 — A significant collaboration between Applied Intuition Inc. and HUMAIN, a Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund company, was announced on August 31, 2026, to establish a foundational framework for autonomy at a national scale in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This partnership brings together HUMAIN’s sovereign AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia with Applied Intuition’s end-to-end physical AI stack, which will be provided through a long-term commercial partnership.
The initiative aims to build the largest autonomous trucking network in the world, with the initial phase focusing on launching autonomous trucking and future phases introducing additional physical AI applications. Autonomous trucking was chosen as a natural starting point because it is a large-scale, tangible application where AI can directly impact productivity, logistics, and economic growth.
Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, stated that autonomous trucking will change the economics of moving goods and people, and the goal with Applied Intuition is to make the region the first to deploy autonomous trucking at scale.
